Conditions were good enough, but

These were taken with a QuickCam 4000 and stacked in registax.

Here is my first ever attempt to stitch together the different pieces of the moon into one image.

You can see from the L/R reversal that I was using the diagonal.  I eventually learned not to do that, but hey, first trials are what you get.

Here are some of the individual images both before and after wavelet processing/cropping.
